The FishPhone system effectively transforms your standard smartphone or tablet into a capable underwater camera monitor. It provides real-time video feed, available in both color and black-and-white modes, directly to your device. Utilizing Wi-Fi hotspot technology, the system creates a dedicated network, allowing for flexible sharing options—be it with multiple friends or through password protection for personal use. Notably, operation does not depend on cellular coverage, enabling use in remote or aquatic environments worldwide.

Using the FishPhone App requires connection to an existing FishPhone Camera Transmitter or the purchase of a compatible device. The FishPhone Camera System (#FP100) functions as a standalone, fully integrated setup, controllable via smartphone. It allows users to record both video and still images, which can subsequently be shared via email or messaging applications with ease.

The system includes a specialized holder and battery pack designed for portability and convenience, accommodating up to 50 feet of cable. The portable camera unit boasts a runtime of approximately six hours per charge.
